My three year old check up

Today I had my three year old check-up. I weighed 27 pounds and I'm 37 inches tall. I'm still tall and thin (and very cute too). I also had to have a lead poison test because Mommy wasn't sure when Keri's house was built. She thought it was prior to 1978 and the Dr told her the State of Illinois wanted me to have this test. They put a needle in my arm and took lots of blood. I was so brave.

Before they did it Mommy told me exactly what would happen. Then I laid on the table and she hugged me (held me down). She told me to close my eyes and take a deep breath and that would make it not hurt so bad. Then she talked me through it. She kept rubbing my head and telling me it would all be over soon. I did great! I didn't cry or anything. My Mommy was protecting me. Did it hurt? YES! Did it made me sad? YES! Mommy didn't lie to me though. She told me it would hurt and that it would all be o.k. Then, on the way home because I did soooooo good she bought me a milkshake from McDonalds! YUMMY. I've never had one of those before. That made it all worth it!

I'm three!!!

It's official! At 4:18 pm today I turned three years old. I had a nice party with my friends at my house. We did a craft project, I opened presents, we all had cake and ice cream and then we played. I had so much fun. My birthday cake was a "My little pony" cake. It was so pretty. I got to keep the pony that was on top of it too. It was just what I wanted. Mommy and Daddy bought me a new bike. Daddy says there is nothing more MTV could do to it. It's pretty pimped out already.

Tomorrow, I go to the dr for my 3 year old check up. Time to see how much I've grown since last year.

My first pedicure

Tonight I got an early birthday present from my Mom. We went and got pedicure's together. It was so much fun. I loved it. We went to this place that had special chairs for kids. The water that I got to soak my feet in changed colors and there was even a DVD player attached to the chair, so I got to watch a movie.

I got to pick out the color of polish I wanted on my toe nails. I picked bright pink. Mommy got the same color. On my big toe they even made a white flower. I couldn't stop smiling. Even though this present wasn't wrapped in paper, it was a really good present. Mommy knows me so well. My favorite part was when the lady rubbed lotion on my legs. She even painted my fingernails to match.

Here are some pictures from my pedicure.

I can spell

Today, after Daddy dropped me off at Keri's I spelled my first word for her. B-U-T-T. She asked me where I learned to spell that word. My brother taught me. He's very smart. I spelled it for Ryne-o too. He thought I was pretty funny!

"Marty Graw" aka Mardi Gras

I have a bad habit of being outside and lifting my shirt up as I talk to people. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me not to do that. They say "put your shirt down. You are not at Mardi Gras."

Tonight, Mommy heard me calling my Barbie "Marty Graw". She could not figure out why I would do that. My Barbie didn't have a shirt on so I decided to name her "Marty Graw". I'm so clever.

The Girl Show

Tonight Mommy and I cuddled on the couch and watched my favorite TV show. I call it "The Girl Show". I heard Mommy say the real name is "Jon and Kate plus 8". I asked her if we could watch it. When Ryan was in school and I got to come home early with Mom, I always got to watch it when it was on in the late afternoon. I was so happy it was on tonight. I hadn't watched it in quite a while because 8:00 is my bedtime.

Here is a picture of Mommy and I watching the show. My brother took this picture.
