We went for a walk tonight and do you know what I saw??? There was a man standing outside with no shirt on. He was not in shape. His tummy was not flat. It was not a pretty sight. It was hairy too. I let him and the rest of the world know what I thought. I said "EWWWWW! He's not wearing a shirt." And I said it LOUD!
After I take a bath, I don't go outside with no clothes on. I put on undies and jammies. I told Daddy the guy was gross. Yes, "Gross" is the word I used. Cover it up! If you don't have a six-pack, I don't want to see it. And I don't mean beer. I'm only 2!

I'm cute AND SMART!!!
Today, I went to pre-k screening. First, they tested my vision and hearing. I did great. Then another nice lady took me to a room and she asked me questions and played some games. I was able to tell her all of my colors, I knew my shapes, I could open a jar, string beads, play a matching game, crossed my feet, hopped on one leg etc...
They all thought I was very cute. More than one person told me that I was very sweet and a nice way to start the day. After they were done testing me they shared the results with Mommy and Daddy. There are 120 kids testing and only 36 open spots. I got a perfect score and I'm only 2 years and 10 months so I won't get to go to pre-k. They told Mommy and Daddy that they don't see scores like that from someone who isn't even three yet. I'm just too smart I guess. Beauty and brains...not a bad combo.

Big R -- No, not my brother
Today we went to Big R Customer Appreciation Days. It was SO much fun! I got to ride on a pink pony (white pony, pink blanket on the pony.) Then I got to have a hot dog, popcorn and a Pepsi. Yes, Mommy let me have Pepsi. I don't get that very often. Then we got a balloon animal. I got a purple doggie. On the way home my doggie was being a little hyper. Mommy told me to quiet down. I told her it was not my fault. My doggie was out of control and I was trying to calm him down. Then when we got home, my brother shot my doggie with his balloon laser gun; it died. Just pretend died though. It was alive again later.

A visit from the President - ok, maybe not
Today we were playing outside at Keri's in the back yard. The weather was so nice. A man was walking door to door in the neighborhood and he saw Keri sitting in the back yard watching us play so he came back to talk to her. When Matty saw this man walking into the back yard he yelled "look at the brown man". Yep, you guess it, this man was "black"/African-American. It didn't look like just any black man. This man was Barack Obama. I was sure of it. I said to my friends in a very loud voice "It's Barack Obama!" We all started yelling "Hi Barack Obama." He couldn't believe we knew who that was.
Turns out though it was NOT the President. This man was a Jehovah's Witness. I think I have an Great-Aunt that is one of these and Mommy and Daddy have some friends that are. I've heard all about them. They go around knocking on doors trying to convert people over to their religion. The most ironic part is that this guy, due to his religion, can't even vote!

Happy Easter!
This Sunday was Easter. We had a really good Easter weekend. On Saturday Mommy and I went to a baby shower for one of Mommies cousins. Then we went to Grandma & Grandpa's for an early Easter meal and an Easter egg hunt.
Here is a picture of me with all of my eggs...

And here is a picture of me after I ate the candy in my eggs...

On Easter morning I woke up and found out the Easter Bunny had been at my house. He left me lots of eggs filled with candy and money, a Barbie kite, a bubble wand and the BEST thing of all...ROLLER SKATES. Barbie roller skates.

We also went to church and learned all about the Easter story. After church we had lunch with Dave, De & Ben and then we had an Easter egg hunt.
Here is a picture of Ryan and I in our Easter clothes...

Trying Mommy & Daddy's patience
Man, do I have an attitude these days! Mommy asked me tonight if I was hormonal. I told her "NO." I am not sure what or who a hormonal is, but I'm a Princess.
On the way home tonight I kept telling her to close my window. It was already closed. She was confused so she opened the window and then closed it hoping I would quit whining. Guess what I did next!?! I opened my car door as she was driving. She was on the Big Road, so I think she was going fast (65 mph). She keeps saying her heart fell out of her chest. She looks fine to me so I don't know what she's talking about. She pulled the car over to the side of the road and Daddy came around the side of the car and shut my door tightly and then locked it. Mommy thought it was already locked and had the child safety lock enabled. She was wrong. I think Daddy enabled it when we got home though.
