Santa is coming

It's Christmas Eve. It's 9:36 PM and I CANNOT sleep! I know I should be sleeping but I cannot fall asleep. Tomorrow is Christmas. Santa is going to come tonight...if I can ever fall asleep. This is just so EXCITING!!!! I'm trying to fall night-night but it's not working. I'm not old enough to take Nyquil yet.

Today we went to Daddy's Uncle Gary's house. We had lunch there ham, potatoes, chocolate stuff and presents. I played with some of my cousins. I had a great time. I fell asleep in the truck. We hadn't even been on the road five minutes and I was out! Hmmmmm, maybe that's why I can't sleep now.

After we got home we went to church. I got to hold a candle while we sang "Silent Night". That was neat. Brother held one too. I hope Santa doesn't skip over our house if I'm still awake. Brother and I left him milk and cookies.

I need to try the night-night thing again.....Good night everyone!

Visit with Santa

Tonight I got to go see Santa. I told him I wanted Barbie's and a phone. I forgot to tell him I need a new baby doll stroller. That made me a little sad. Maybe he knows I need a new one anyway.

I gave Santa a big hug. He was so nice.

Decorating for Christmas

This weekend we put up our Christmas Tree. We bought a new tree this year. It's 9 ft tall. We also got new ornaments. Mommy managed to fit 2100 lights on the tree. It's very bright. I love it though. Daddy and Brother put up lights outside too. They are blue icicle lights. They are soooo pretty!

Mommy and Me Day

Guess what? Today was Mommy and Me day. I've been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks. Mommy took the day off of work to spend it with me. We did lots of fun stuff. The day started with a stop at Walmart to get the latest Taylor Swift CD. The one that has the Cheer Captain song on it (aka You belong to me). That's my favorite song -- well, one of my favorites.

Next, we went to the Children's Place clothing store. I picked out a few things that I love, including a sparkley belt and sparkley shoes. Then we went to get my pictures taken. Mommy even got in a few of them with me. That was so much fun. I put a few below if you'd like to look at them. After the pictures, we went out for lunch. It was my pick. I chose Subway. Yummy! Mommy even let me get a chocolate chip cookie. I told Mommy that when I grow up I'm going to be a Mommy just like her. I really love her. She's the best. After lunch we went to the mall and did some shopping. I love shopping. After shopping we stopped to visit my Great-Grandma and then my Grandma and Grandpa. It was the BEST day. I can't wait until we have another one.

Halloween

After months and months of waiting, it's finally here. Today is Halloween. This is my favorite "holiday". I love to dress up. That's why I like it so much. This year I chose to be the Wicked Witch from the "Wizard of Oz". We had a hard time finding a witch costume that wasn't "pretty". The Wicked Witch is scary, has a green face and wears all black. Everything we saw was black with purple and sparkely or green with sparkles. Mommy came through for me though. She bought be a black leotard, a black skirt, a black witches hat and she made me a black cape. I also wore my tall black boots. Then Mommy painted my face green. It was perfect and I was sooooo scary.

Halloween Party

Tonight we went to a Halloween party. There were lots of games, a balloon guy, a cake walk and a costume contest. I dressed up as the Wicked Witch from "The Wizard of OZ". That is my FAVORITE movie. It's just the best. It was my idea to dress up as the witch. I won 3rd place in the costume contest. My brother, who dressed up as a devil/goblin won 2nd place. That was so cool!!

Pumpkin Carving 2009

Tonight my family carved our Halloween pumpkins. I loved getting all of the goo out of the pumpkins. Mommy tried to help, but I really wanted to do it myself. I decided I wanted my pumpkin to look like a traditional Jack-O-Lantern.
