Every day we've been taking Phoebe for a walk. Tonight, just Mommy and I took her. We went "the long way". Phoebe seemed to really like it. Except at the end. There was a big black dog that came after her. He probably just wanted to play but she did NOT like it one bit. Mommy got the other dog to go way and then everything was good.
Pheebs seems to be coping with the changes around the house pretty well. She is constantly by my Mommy's side. Mommy said this is how Phoebe was before they got Bug. Bug was my favorite so I miss her a lot. Phoebe likes me but she really likes my Mommy and that's just who she wants most of the time. I keep looking for Bug. When I ask Mommy tells me she's in Heaven. One of these days I'll understand...

Glory-Bug is with Jesus
Something very sad happened today. When my Mommy went outside to bring Phoebe and Glory in at lunch time, she found Glory had died in the back yard. She was laying on her belly with her eyes open, tail curled (just like a typical happy pug) and was in her happy, restful position. She didn't move when Mom went out there, which was not like her at all. Mommy called Daddy at work and told him to come home right away because Glory had died. He came home and put Bug in a box. They made arrangements to bury her at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Both Mommy and Daddy picked me up from Keri's so I knew something was up. After we picked my brother up from Day Camp they told us what happened. They explained that she probably had a heart attack because whatever happened to her happened very suddenly. They said that she was in Heaven with Jesus now. I'm little so it's hard for me to really understand what all of that means, but I do know that Heaven is a happy place and Jesus will take good care of Bug.
On the way home we picked up a new bed and some bones for Phoebe because she's sad. Glory-Bug was her buddy and we are trying to help her cope with this too. The first thing I did tonight when I got home was gave Phoebe a BIG hug. I don't want her to be sad.

(Wis)'Consin Dells
Last week we went on vacation. Mommy decided we'd go to 'Consin Dells this year. She wanted to take us somewhere that we'd never been before and she knew that I wouldn't do well in the car for much longer than that. Vacation was SO MUCH FUN. This was the first vacation that we've been on that I really get what's going on. We didn't go on a vacation last year and the year before that, I was just too little to understand.
We stayed in a hotel. I called it a bedroom though. Did you know there were two big beds in the room. We had a sleep over. I got to sleep in bed with Mommy and Ry Ry slept in the bed with Daddy.
On Tuesday we went and saw the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum. It was ok, but nothing great. Then we went to this HUGE candy shop. I got a really big lolly pop. It was so yummy. Ry Ry got ice cream. After that we went swimming for a while. I like to be in the water but I do not like getting any water on my face or in my eyes. It just scares me and upsets me. I sat on the side of the pool for a while and then got in with Daddy. After swimming we all went out to eat. Then we went miniature golfing. I wasn't really into the golf. Mommy kept saying it was a good thing they didn't charge for me to play golf like that. There was a big playground at the miniature golf place so we got to swing and play on the slides when we were done. It was getting dark so we went back to our hotel when we were done playing.
On Wednesday, we were supposed to go to Mt. Olympus. When we got up though it was only 54 degrees outside and the high for the day was 71 with rain in the forecast. Mommy and Daddy decided we needed to flip flop our agenda for Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday we ended up going to the Tommy Bartlett Exploratory (a science center with interactive games/experiements), and the Circus World Museum. Both places were really cool.
At the Circus World Museum we got to go for an elephant ride, watch a magic show, watch a one ring circus performance and watch a tiger show. When we were watching the one ring circus, one of the elephants pooped and peed. That was so funny. That was my favorite part.
On Thursday we made it to Mt. Olympus. That place is so cool. It has and indoor and outdoor amusement park as well as an indoor and outdoor waterpark. I rode on a few waterslides, but I was so scared of getting water in my eyes. I even rode on the lazy river with both Mommy and Daddy at different times. Daddy tipped us over though and I freaked out.
I also got to go on amusement park rides for the first time. Things like the swings, teacups, balloon ride, train ride and airplane ride. I loved all of these. I smiled so big when I rode these rides.
This was a really fun vacation. I can't wait to go on another vacation.

My three year old check up
Today I had my three year old check-up. I weighed 27 pounds and I'm 37 inches tall. I'm still tall and thin (and very cute too). I also had to have a lead poison test because Mommy wasn't sure when Keri's house was built. She thought it was prior to 1978 and the Dr told her the State of Illinois wanted me to have this test. They put a needle in my arm and took lots of blood. I was so brave.
Before they did it Mommy told me exactly what would happen. Then I laid on the table and she hugged me (held me down). She told me to close my eyes and take a deep breath and that would make it not hurt so bad. Then she talked me through it. She kept rubbing my head and telling me it would all be over soon. I did great! I didn't cry or anything. My Mommy was protecting me. Did it hurt? YES! Did it made me sad? YES! Mommy didn't lie to me though. She told me it would hurt and that it would all be o.k. Then, on the way home because I did soooooo good she bought me a milkshake from McDonalds! YUMMY. I've never had one of those before. That made it all worth it!

I'm three!!!
It's official! At 4:18 pm today I turned three years old. I had a nice party with my friends at my house. We did a craft project, I opened presents, we all had cake and ice cream and then we played. I had so much fun. My birthday cake was a "My little pony" cake. It was so pretty. I got to keep the pony that was on top of it too. It was just what I wanted. Mommy and Daddy bought me a new bike. Daddy says there is nothing more MTV could do to it. It's pretty pimped out already.
Tomorrow, I go to the dr for my 3 year old check up. Time to see how much I've grown since last year.

My first pedicure
Tonight I got an early birthday present from my Mom. We went and got pedicure's together. It was so much fun. I loved it. We went to this place that had special chairs for kids. The water that I got to soak my feet in changed colors and there was even a DVD player attached to the chair, so I got to watch a movie.
I got to pick out the color of polish I wanted on my toe nails. I picked bright pink. Mommy got the same color. On my big toe they even made a white flower. I couldn't stop smiling. Even though this present wasn't wrapped in paper, it was a really good present. Mommy knows me so well. My favorite part was when the lady rubbed lotion on my legs. She even painted my fingernails to match.
Here are some pictures from my pedicure.

I can spell
Today, after Daddy dropped me off at Keri's I spelled my first word for her. B-U-T-T. She asked me where I learned to spell that word. My brother taught me. He's very smart. I spelled it for Ryne-o too. He thought I was pretty funny!
